I'm a Singaporean, my husband is French and our2 boys are Aussies.
After building my career in logistics for 5 years, I made a life changing decision to go into business for myself and break away from the traditional work structure.
Having an international family with no local support, I had to think outside the box to create time and flexibility for my family while still achieving big lifestyle goals.
I had big doubts and fears - I had never done anything like this before. It was such a big step forward but backing myself in business was one of the best decisions that allowed us to create this life of freedom.
It is easy to show up everyday in business when you love what you do and the people you work with.
THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: While I did enjoy my work in logistics and progressed in my role, I reached a ceiling ultimately and started to feel unmotivated and unfulfilled.
Travelling to over 30 countries before I reached 30 gave me so many enriching experiences but also showed me that most people were married to debt and were not living their best lives.
I knew a corporate job would not allow me to achieve the goals I had. I didn't realise being in business would be my answer. Serendipity led me here and I never looked back at my corporate career since learning to work for myself.
